Brute Forsyth-
Can You Feel It Sessions
Sat Feb 19th. Loose
Studio's.
12:40pm, The
captin and his first mate of gruesome 2 piece drum and bass noise
bandits Brute Forsyth have been ushered from Paradise St bus station
via an X5 express service From Liverpool city to Runcorn old town,
North West England. |
|
Runcorn has a
high population made up from the over flow of Irish/Liverpool
quiet life seekers in the 70's, promises of security and new town
economy brought them in droves, and fuk all has happened since. time
stopped, settlers and there offspring have began forming hideous
deformities and the gene pools of a once happy community fell to
dangerously low levels... the 80's hit, Thatcher took care of any
glimmers of hope and the the town practically closed down to outside
influence or communication, the trucks and there rich loads of
merchandise stopped rolling through. |

|
The folk within
its border withered further, violence became mandatory, special
suits of man made fibre donned with a sturdy pair of regular shoes
coupled with regulation shaved hair cuts and the look of a troubled
aging human were encouraged and bred in order to protect its
inhabitants from the chemicals pumped into there lungs via ICI and
Elsmere port.... Good place for noise too breed, and in turn
good place to make a record.
Once in the
relative safe confines of Loose studio we set about plugging the the
two young missionaries directly into the machines..... after a
count of 43, the pair began too buzz and vibrate, our small
herd of audio scientists cowered in fear, Mc Goosefat buried his
head further into a 1964 edition of No Musical Experience and
blanked out the flashing lights and fizzy references to Robert
Cops..... for 4 hours they tumbled and raged, winked and gaffuwwed,
caught in an audio storm of their own making.. at times we
came close to hurling buckets of water and pulling the plug,
but after 4hrs and 36 minutes the pair separated, the tape ran out
and in our ears rang with the broken and faint sound of Frank
Sidebottom crying out for a second chance.
