fiona fiography photography

I graduated in Fine Art and specialized in photography during my degree in London. After university I resided in London and went on to work as a photographers assistant and freelance photographer, showing my work in galleries from time to time. My passion is documentary photography, however I gained experience in all areas of photography through work, internships, study and voluntary work such as being an assistant facilitator for a charity called Photo Voice where I discovered I enjoyed teaching photography!
i also did a lot of work for theatres, events and bands.I love live music and thoroughly enjoy doing live music photography.
Through the want to manipulate my images I started to study digital media and found i had a flair for design and programming. i studied image software and web design for four years and did an internship as a web design assistant for Escape Artists.
I have been traveling for 19 months now around Australia and New Zealand. I am hoping to settle in Wellington for a while and work some more on my web design work :) .......... and take some pictures of course :).
I love to take pictures and design/build websites. i am currently in the process of learning more about programming languages and web resources. if you like any of my work please give me a shout!
