With over ten years of experience of working within the secure estate throughout the UK, as well as in high-security prisons in Northern Ireland, Italy, Austria and Germany we are thoroughly accustomed to working with offenders, ex-offenders and young people at risk. We are able to manage an entire project on your behalf, working flexibly within the requirements you set. This means we can take care of all the logistical arrangements - CRB clearances, financial and administrative support, the accreditation process - delivering projects when and where you need them. We are a non-profit organisation with the knowledge and experience to facilitate strong partnerships, ensuring that you receive an efficient, high-quality service which can quickly adapt to match your needs and the needs of your clients. Prison Arts Services has been set up specifically to support people working in the Criminal Justice System who are looking for creative ways of engaging with their client groups. Although the value of arts enhanced education and training is widely acknowledged, contractors often find it difficult to know where to go to get the best advice and service: there is a bewildering variety of arts organisations and practitioners - all with varying degrees of educational skill, creativity and sectoral competency - which means that for contractors, finding the right kind of provider can often be extremely difficult and very time-consuming. At Prison Arts Services we aim to provide a straightforward and flexible resource, that quickly and efficiently matches your educational requirements with the best people and services in the field..
